Track what you do. See what it actually does.

Habits, medications, sleep, mood, weight — any mix you care about, logged in seconds. Correlation insights show what's really moving your numbers, and the weight forecast learns your real metabolism from your own data instead of trusting a formula.

Questions

Is HabitSync free?

Yes. Sign in and use it, at no cost.

Do I need a smart scale or fitness tracker?

No. You log everything manually, in a few taps. Support for connected devices may come later.

What kinds of habits can I track?

Simple Yes/No habits, numeric habits with a daily goal like glasses of water, or a percentage target like "hit the gym 80% of days." Each shape gets its own visualization, because a yes/no streak and a numeric goal do not read the same way on a chart.

Do I have to track weight? What if I don't care about that?

Not at all. Weight and calorie forecasting are there if you want them, but you can switch them off entirely in settings. Put any habit, your sleep, or your mood at the top of your dashboard and Trends instead.

How is the weight forecast calculated?

You pick the starting formula (Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris-Benedict, or Katch-McArdle) and your activity level. Once you have a couple of weeks of logged weight and calories, HabitSync can switch to an observed mode that works backwards from how your weight actually responded to find your daily burn. It keeps adjusting every time you log.

What do BMR and TDEE actually mean?

BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is what your body burns just staying alive: breathing, circulation, keeping the lights on. TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is that number scaled up to cover your movement and exercise. TDEE is your maintenance calories. Eat under it to lose weight, over it to gain, and it's the number every forecast on HabitSync, and the free calculator, is built from.

What does the mood check-in do?

A daily 1-10 rating plus an optional dominant emotion. Combined with your sleep, calories, and habits, it drives the correlation insights: things like "your mood averages 1.4 points higher on days you exercise."

Can I track medications?

Yes. Set the dosage and schedule once, anything from a daily pill to a once-a-week dose, or snap a photo of the label and it fills itself in. Logging a dose is one tap. Dosage changes show up as an actual step in your Trends charts, so you can see whether a change in dosage tracked with a change in mood, sleep, or anything else. Nothing you've logged is ever deleted, even if you stop taking something, so you keep the full history for a doctor's visit.

Does HabitSync only compare habits to mood, sleep, or weight?

No. Habits get compared against each other too, not just against mood, sleep, and weight. If you've got two habits running, HabitSync will surface things like "you're more likely to hit your water goal on days you go to the gym," the same way it does for mood and sleep.

What is the free calculator for?

A no-signup way to estimate your BMR, TDEE, and a realistic timeline to your goal weight. If you're signed in, you can also save the result straight to your profile as your calorie goal, in one tap.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your data is encrypted and used only to power your own dashboard. We don't sell your personal data.

What actually gets shared in a Group?

Nothing by default. Your raw daily logs never leave your account. If a group tracks specific standards like weight, sleep, or a custom habit, joining can automatically enable those habits for you, but you still choose whether to share each one, and you can turn any of them off whenever you want.
